Rio Cuarto

El Autódromo Parque Ciudad de Río Cuarto es un circuito automovilístico ubicado en la ciudad de Río Cuarto, Córdoba, Argentina. Su administración está a cargo del Automóvil Club de Río Cuarto.Es uno de los escenarios deportivos más importantes de Córdoba, lo que le ha permitido atraer a las principales categorías del automovilismo: Turismo Carretera, Turismo Competición 2000, Turismo Nacional y Top Race.El 30 de octubre de 1940 se fundó el Automóvil Club Río Cuarto por iniciativa de quien sería su primer presidente; Felipe Di Cola. La fecunda labor de esta institución, culminó durante la presidencia de Carlos Daverio con la compra del campo para construir el circuito permanente que tanto se había soñado. Como corolario de este esfuerzo de sus dirigentes, el 26 de agosto de 1959 se inauguró la pista totalmente pavimentada del actual Autódromo Parque Ciudad de Río Cuarto. Apadrinó la ceremonia nada menos que el quíntuple campeón mundial de automovilismo Juan Manuel Fangio.The Autodromo Parque Ciudad de Río Cuarto is an automobile circuit located in the city of Río Cuarto, Córdoba, Argentina. Its administration is in charge of the Automobile Club of Río Cuarto.It is one of the most important sporting venues in Córdoba, which has allowed it to attract the main motorsport categories: Road Tourism (TC), Competition Tourism 2000 (TC2000), National Tourism (TN) and Top Race.On October 30, 1940, the Río Cuarto Automobile Club was founded on the initiative of its first president; Philip DiCola. The fruitful work of this institution culminated during the presidency of Carlos Daverio with the purchase of the field to build the permanent circuit that had been dreamed of so much. As a corollary to this effort by its leaders, on August 26, 1959, the fully paved track of the current Río Cuarto Park City Raceway was inaugurated. The ceremony was sponsored by none other than the five-time world motorsports champion Juan Manuel Fangio.
